Happy 175th Birthday

Take a look at some of the photographs and events from the 2010 Victorian Festival, which was also the Grainger Market’s 175th birthday, including our hands-on jewellery presentation.  Read more.

Grainger Market Festival 2011

Read about the 2011 Grainger Market Festival here.  It took place between 24 October and 29 October 2011.  The festival had a World War II theme, with activities ranging from a VE Day dance to wartime stories.  Also see me and Karl dressed like the 1940s!

Red, White & Blue Festival

VJW Jewellery is celebrating the Jubilee and taking part in the Grainger Market’s activities.  The fun starts on Wednesday 30 May!  On Thursday you can see Karl dressed up and with his face painted at the Red, White & Blue Market!  Read more here.

Love your local market 2012

Our shop, the whole of the Grainger Market and markets up and now the country took part in a fortnight of events to celebrate local markets!  There was everything from sci-fi to food, air-raid shelters to dancing!  Read more.

Join us and a dozen or so other local businesses at Cafe Rouge’s Ladies Night for a evening of jewellery, cosmetics, make-overs and much, much more!

The Hymnometer

This was a great invention created by a customer!  It’s used to count verses of songs, a was specifically designed for a pianist at a local Church.  The beads are used as the counters!
